Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Ltd. and it's US partner Ford is planning a to build a five hundred millon dollar engine plant in China. Construction starts next year with engine production beginning in 2013. The plant will be able to make four hundred thousand engines a year. Ford which is in Dearborn, Michigan is ranked eleventh in sales in the Chinese market. They sold three hundred sixty eight thousand one hunred and three cars in China through August 2010. This is fourty two percent more than last year.

Why do you think the sales have increased so much?
Should the cars be made in America so Americans can have jobs here?
